Laëtitia Velly wears many hats: she's an emergency physician at the Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital, a 3rd-year doctoral candidate at the Physiology and Pathophysiology doctoral school, and a future company founder in connection with her research into biomarkers that differentiate between viruses and bacteria. We met her during her speech for the Starthèse - Sorbonne University competition in spring 2023, after she had completed the myStartup Program, the Pôle Universitaire d'Innovation de l'Alliance Sorbonne University's acceleration program for research-based projects.
