The Doctoral College
The Sorbonne University Alliance Doctoral College was established in January 2014.
The Doctoral College's mission is to provide support to each of Sorbonne University's twenty-three doctoral schools by welcoming doctoral candidates, particularly those from other countries, ensuring access to doctoral training, preventing psychosocial risks, monitoring the health of doctoral candidates, and accompanying them on their career paths. It also fosters dialogue and synergy between all staff members of the "doctoral community."
Beyond Sorbonne University, the Doctoral College will increase its visibility and influence. It will participate in the rich activities of the National Network of Doctoral Colleges (RNCD). It will interact with doctoral colleges at universities throughout Europe, through the LERU Doctoral Studies group or the EUA Council for Doctoral Education, and internationally.
The Doctoral College is headed by Bertrand Granado, a professor in the Sorbonne University Computer Science Laboratory.
