The Prematurity Program
The University Innovation Center (PUI) of the Sorbonne University Alliance publishes calls to support the development of emerging innovative projects, regardless of their scientific field or the targeted application sector, provided that their purpose is to promote them to society, socio-economic or socio-cultural stakeholders.
Overview
To fully consider the potential and specificities of the Sorbonne University Alliance's development of all themes and disciplines, project leaders can apply for one of the following two themes in the call for projects:
- Humanities, Societies, and Modernity
- Science, Engineering, and Health
This program is aimed at early-stage development projects from structures within the Alliance's scope to validate a proof of concept, identify potential applications for preliminary results, and strengthen an intellectual property asset. This program operates upstream of and complements the missions of SATT Lutech or transfer subsidiaries such as Inserm-Transfert or CNRS Innovation.
Selected projects, lasting 6 to 12 months, will be eligible for funding of up to €80,000 to cover staff recruitment and operating costs (including external services).
Projects at a very early stage can apply to request support in the form of an ideation service, a technical-legal and/or intellectual property diagnostic-advice or a flash market study to guide the development of the project.
