International University of Rabat

The International University of Rabat (UIR) is a fundamentally internationally oriented institution, making it a perfect fit for Sorbonne University to partner with. Equally committed to internationalization at the intersections of research and education, Sorbonne University is looking to collaborate with UIR primarily in the fields of Arabic languages and education training.

Sorbonne University and UIR are actively developing mobility programs for students, administrative staff and academic researchers in both institutions. Our partnership will defined by cultural openness, multidisciplinary research collaboration, and the synergizing of our internationalization strategies.

Université Internationale de Rabat (UIR)

Founded in 2010, UIR is the first Moroccan university to be created as part of a higher education partnership with the Moroccan government. Cooperation between Sorbonne University and the International University of Rabat is recent, but the motivation to move forward together is strong. For the moment, the action plan for the partnership includes pedagogical cooperation (creation of a teaching module, student mobility) and the implementation of joint research projects. Visit UIR's website.
