The numerous Parisian campuses and sites of Sorbonne University weave a very dense network within the capital.
- The Faculty of Arts and Humanities has its sites in the heart of the Latin Quarter and in the north of the city.
- The Faculty of Medicine is located in eastern Paris.
- The Faculty of Science and Engineering is located on the banks of the Seine, at the Pierre and Marie Curie campus, as well as in the regions.
The institution also has three branches in the Île-de-France region: in the Hauts-de-Seine, the communication and journalism school, Celsa; in the Val-de-Marne, the Institute for Logevity - Charles Foix; and in the Yvelines the experimental engineering platform on the Saint-Cyr-l'École campus.
