Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships, in the research units of Sorbonne University and its partners the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, the Institut national de la santé et de la recherche médicale, the Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle, the Université de Technologie de Compiègne and the Institut de recherche pour le développement.
The Marie Skłodowska Curie (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowship is one of the most important schemes of the European Commission’s Horizon Europe Research & Innovation programme.

3 - We will first check the eligibility of your application and then send the applications to the Supervisors.
4 - Supervisors will select the candidate or candidates per each "Supervisor project proposal". Candidates will be selected based on their CV and motivation.
5 - The selected candidates will be contacted by Sorbonne Université and will be invited to the MSCA Master Class taking place the 8th and 9th June.

Institut national de recherche en sciences et technologies du numérique (Inria): The Inria focuses on computer science and applied mathematics. Since January 2024, it has been in charge of the Digital Programmes Agency, which aims to strengthen the collective dynamics of higher education and research.
Institut de recherche pour le développement (IRD): The IRD is conducting scientific and technical research in partnership with countries in the Global South, covering various fields such as social sciences, health sciences, and natural and environmental sciences.

Eligibility criteria
Researchers interested in submitting a Posdoctoral Fellowship:
- must be in possession of a doctoral degree or have successfully unconditionally defended their doctoral thesis before the call deadline
- must have a maximum of 8 years (full-time equivalent) research experience from the date of award of the (first) doctoral degree
- must comply with the following mobility rule: they must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the country of the beneficiary (for European Postdoctoral Fellowships), or the host organisation for the outgoing phase (for Global Postdoctoral Fellowships) for more than 12 months in the 36 months immediately before the call deadline
The programme is open to applicants of any nationality. Only one proposal per applicant is eligible. Beware that applicants who have applied to the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship 2025 call and received an evaluation below 80% are not eligible for an application in 2026.
Project applications to the MSCA-PF programme of the European Commission
The selected applicants and their Supervisors, over the summer, will write a joint proposal on their project topic, which will be submitted to the Horizon Europe MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship call and evaluated by experts appointed by the European Commission on the basis of Excellence, Impact and Quality & Efficiency of the Implementation by one of 8 selection panels: Chemistry (CHE), Economic Sciences (ECO), Information Science and Engineering (ENG), Environment and Geosciences (ENV), Life Sciences (LIF), Mathematics (MAT), Physics (PHY), Social Sciences and Humanities (SOC).
If selected, the proposal will be funded in 2027-2028 by the European Commission through Sorbonne Université or one of the Host institutions above, which will employ the researcher and provide the allocated research funds, as well as the logistics and necessary facilities to implement the project.
